Edit video

Video Script

Draft a video script from a topic instead of starting at an empty page: generate an outline, then a first pass at the wording, and edit it into something you would actually say. Aixcut drafts scripts in a desktop Chrome or Edge workspace, and the text stays in the project that will use it.

Video Script

How to use Aixcut for this task

  1. STEP 01

    Give the draft a target

State the topic, the audience and how long the video should run, since those three decide what the draft keeps and what it drops.

  2. STEP 02

    Generate an outline first

Produce the structure, check the order of the argument, then expand the sections rather than generating a full script blind.

  3. STEP 03

    Rewrite for speech

Read the draft aloud, cut the words you would not say, and shorten any sentence you ran out of breath on.

Structure before wording

A script fails more often from wrong order than from clumsy sentences. Generate the outline, check that each section earns the next one, and only then fill in the wording. Rewriting the structure afterwards means rewriting all the text anyway.

Written language and spoken language differ

Generated drafts read like documents: subordinate clauses, passive constructions, lists of three. Read the draft aloud and mark where you stumble. Those are the places to cut or split, because a viewer notices a stumble even when they cannot say why.

What a generated draft cannot know

A draft cannot know your product facts, your numbers or the claim you are allowed to make. Every figure, comparison and product statement has to be verified against your own sources before it is recorded, and anything unverified should be cut rather than softened.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about this task, its limits and how to judge the result.

How do I generate a video script?

Give the topic, audience and target length, generate the outline first, then expand the sections and rewrite the wording for speech.

Can I use the generated script as it comes?

Treat it as a draft. Read it aloud, cut what you would not say, and verify every fact and figure before recording.

Does the draft include a hook?

It can suggest an opening, but the strongest hook usually comes from what you know about the audience, so rewrite the first line yourself.

How long should the script be?

Set a target length first. Spoken content runs at roughly a steady rate, so decide the minutes you want and let that constrain the draft.

Is there a free AI video script generator?

Trial access and script length follow the current workspace rules. Review the draft for claims, structure and rights before recording.
